Mr. David Fooy will be joining our Upton Middle School family as the new Assistant Principal. Dave brings over twenty years of experience as an educator, first as a special education teacher, then as both a high school and middle school assistant principal in Kalamazoo, and more recently as a lead middle school principal in Battle Creek. His rich experiences, relationship-focused approach, and passion for the work make him an excellent fit for our school family.
Dave is married to his wife Taryn and they have four children; Dominick (17), high school senior, Raelyn (10), fourth grade, Kenny (9), third grade, and Anika (6), first grade.
Dave said: “I am very excited and honored to be the next assistant principal at Upton Middle School and cannot wait to meet the incredible staff, students, and parents.”
