With one of the largest full-dome show libraries in Michigan, the Upton Planetarium can be a great educational resource for your classroom. Offering the latest in planetarium technology, our sights & sounds amaze visitors of all ages. We offer a variety of shows to help support your science curriculum-- from Sesame's Street's "One World, One Sky" to exciting adventures in "Black Holes: The Other Side of Infinity".


Field Trips

We would love to have your classroom or group visit the planetarium this school year! Shows will operate from February 1st until June 3rd. You can view our current show catalog HERE. Contact planetarium director Jenna Francis at [email protected] with any questions or to schedule a show.


Planetarium Community Nights

We are excited to bring back our Community Nights for the 2023 -24 school year. All shows begin at 6:30pm. These nights are free to the public, but donations are always welcome. Tickets are not available for pre-order and seats are on a first-come basis. Doors open at 6:10pm and shut promptly when the show begins at 6:30pm. Shows will last 45-60 minutes.
